A SHORT INTRODUCTION

A family owned enterprise established in 2007 by Alexander Philippides and son Tristan-Sebastian and daughter Melanie, British nationals of Greek origin. The family were previously and still partly operating in the UK in the Healthcare sector. Alexander was the Managing Director of Quality Care Choice Ltd, a Company providing and running healthcare establishments for Adults and the Elderly in London and the South of England. The family were frequent visitors to Greece and always considered it as a second home. After a number of years Alexander purchased properties in Pelion and Volos as an excellent location to live and work well supported by transportation facilities but mainly for its outstanding natural beauty. A great mythological civilisation and historically a rich cultural and commercial centre which still retains its eminence, tradition, beauty and charm from the days of Jason and the Argonauts.
The replica of Argo the ship in which they sailed in search of the Golden Fleece, dominating Volos harbour. Experience and knowledge of nutritional science prompted Alexander to initially examine the feasibility of cultivation and production of olive oil from the purchased land plots which were totally overgrown and neglected and as a result a total rethink and study was necessary. First and foremost was the access from the main roads and consequently the vehicular access to all parts of the fields. The works entailed erecting retaining walls, levelling the ground by creating tiers which would ensure safety and flood resistant.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
ETHOS — VISION — MISSION AND COMMITMENT

Our mission is defined clearly as that of constant improvement which is based on our commitment to improve the quality of our practices in line with those of the EU and the World Council.
The EU in particular have given priority to Organic cultivation backed by incentives to encourage more individuals and organisations to switch to the new culture.
A number of chemicals were barred and a list of several pesticides and insecticides with a tolerance level of 0.1 were introduced. Our Chemical Analysis showed 0 in all of 22 insecticides and pesticides tested.
The World Council’s oil classification is based on acidity levels of Extra Virgin, 0–0.7, Virgin, 0.8–2, and Lampante over 2. Extra Virgin Oil sold in Supermarkets and labelled as Refined are Devoid of Vitamins, Polyphenols and Phytosterols. The World Council has issued a statement May 25 that over 80% of olive oil is adulterated.

The OPEKEPE scandal brought a new dimension to the food industry.

A TOTAL LACK OF ETHOS
3 October 2025. The Greek Agriculture Minister announces that the ORGANIC growing is Null and Void. Lack of inspectorate and inspection and a wholesale of corruption and the admission of the W.O. Oil Council that olive oil is adulterated, the warning bells have sounded louder thus the question of HOW remains unanswered and at a standstill.
Our mission is tied up with development and research, by pioneering new ideas and methods which are compatible with health, hygiene and safety. Encourage our workforce to comply with EU directives of safe use of equipment.
We are committed to producing a genuine product and will adhere to our policy of continuous improvement in line with technological and scientific progress. We will co-operate with all suppliers and olive presses, organic, local and government authorities.
Our vision is aligned with medical health and nutrition research and we aim to become the precursors in the field of organic products of the highest quality. In doing so we intend to preserve and respect Nature in every aspect of cultivation and including wildlife.
